    • ]]>     One of the scariest things about the U.S. economy right now is that the recession isn’t confined to one region, one industry or localized in any way. The economy is shrinking across the board, and it seems like every type of job is being hit. There is one exception to that blanket statement, however, and that’s the medical profession. Even in bad economic times people still need to visit their doctors it seems, and in bad times it seems like there are more accidents and injuries. That may not be quite true statistically, but it feels that way.

    So what’s a hard-working, ambitious person to do in times like these when it seems like one’s opportunities are severely limited? My advice is turn to some type of medical specialty. Get trained so that you can work in medical records, become a physician’s assistant, get a nursing degree, get a Health Science Masters. Did you know that it’s now possible to get advanced degrees online, so you’re spared the expense and bother of commuting, buying a parking pass, and shelling out a small fortune for gas every week? Well, you can, and there are some top-flight educational institutions such as the Arizona School of Health Sciences where you can get a Masters, or even a Doctor of Health Sciences online to help guarantee that you’ll be fully employed with a good job even in the scariest economic times.
